Royals Game has been moved!

Eagles day at the Royals game has been moved to August 21st at 7:05pm. Call Dale Dilts at 306.1288 to tell him if you will be there no later than August 7th.

Eagles 2008 Awards Picnic
August 29th at Arrowhead Park, Breezy Lodge

The season is over and all that is left is the end of year awards picnic. This year our picnic will be at beautiful Arrowhead Park's Breezy Lodge on Friday, August 29th, starting at 4:00pm.

Just one mile off I-80 at the Neola exit, Arrowhead Park features a 17 acre fishing lake with boat ramp, fishing dock and seasonal bait sales. Canoe or paddle boats can also be rented. Breezy Lodge is equipped with AIR CONDITIONING, kitchen, restroom, fireplace, and a large deck.There is no per car entrance fee for this event...just tell the Ranger you are with the Eagles and going to the Lodge.

Schedule of activities

4:00 lodge is open, families are welcome to come ride bikes, paddle boat, canoe, hike, etc.

6:00 Dinner . . . each family please bring a dish to share and a dessert or chips. (Also bring serving utensils)

7:00 Awards presentation

We have the lodge until 10:00 PM . . . everyone is welcome to stay and enjoy the lodge and surroundings.

There is limited space in the refrigerator, please bring a cooler for your items that need to be kept cold. Please bring drinks for your family. Table settings will be provided. The lodge has a number of picnic tables for our use, but it would be helpful if you have lawn chairs, to bring them. Also, the Eagles Softball Association is renting a paddle boat for our use for the evening; however, if you would like to rent an additional boat or canoe, you will need money. The rental rates are very reasonable. There is no swimming in the lake, but you are welcome to bring fishing equipment or rent some. Lastly Arrowhead Park has asked that we inform you that there is no smoking in Breezy Lodge.

Eagles Grill Winner

Congratulations to Steven Geise winner of the Bar-b-Que grill and Hy-Vee Certificate. Mr. Geise has graciously donated back the Hy-Vee Certficate to the Eagles Softball Association. Thanks You from all of us at Eagles Softball!

Congratulations to Mandy Vorthmann. Mandy sold the most tickets and won movie passes to Star Cinema. Great Job Mandy!
